3CX - HUBSPOT INTEGRATION

3CX is a complete communications platform that offers customers a simple, flexible solution for calling, video calling and live chat. Combined with HubSpot CRM, you have all your customer contact data in 1 system. This ensures a seamless customer experience and oversight on the user side.

WHAT CAN INTEGRATION DO?

  • Contact Synchronization - Inbound/outbound calls to/from external numbers trigger a CRM search, so the contact name is automatically displayed on your phone's display when you handle a call.
  • Call Pop-ups - When using the 3CX web client or desktop app, the customer record is automatically displayed when you receive an incoming call.
  • Call Journals - Calls are logged to HubSpot
  • Chat Journals - Chats are logged to HubSpot
  • Automatically create a new contact when calls are made or received to/from an unknown number.
  • Click to Call - initiate calls directly from HubSpot through 3CX, using the 3CX Click2Call Browser extensions for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

Functional assessment

Before we start writing the first line of code, we need to know exactly what the integration with 3CX should be able to do. What data needs to be exchanged, and what are the integration frameworks? We answer these questions together in the functional assessment.

Configure

Now that the frameworks of the pairing between 3CX and HubSpot are clear, we get to work configuring the pairing both on the HubSpot side and the 3CX side.

Testing

This step speaks for itself: we test the integration thoroughly before putting it live and making it available to everyone in the company. During this step, of course, we stay in touch to discuss progress and any error messages.
